Rain, snow and cold–but amazingly beautiful days greeted us at Capitol Reef National Park for Art and the Park Light on the Reef. I was the guest artist, which meant I judged the show, gave an evening presentation and otherwise was treated like royalty. Thanks to Maura Naughton from the Utah Watercolor Society for helping me get settled, to Dawn House for the use of her lovingly restored pioneer house, Sue Fritzkie and the staff at Capitol Reef National Park, Marci Milligan and Tena Boswell from the Entrada Institute and all the great participating artists. And finally, thanks to Susan Snow and Pat Priebe for their graciousness in helping me judge the paintings. What a fabulous time we had! I was also able to sell eight paintings which made it all perfect.
