We had a lot of fun with our little master class this month. Once again, these classes are small, social distanced and with some really good artists. Our topic this time was, “Good design and composition.”
In spite of the Coronavirus restrictions, my art collectors are still purchasing new paintings. This new painting, “Zion’s Last Light” became part of the of the Foy family yesterday. I’d like to thank them for choosing my work for their new art collection.
I was surprised and excited that editor Kelly Kane selected one of my paintings for the June 1 online issue of American Watercolor Weekly magazine. Due to the Coronavirus the Spring Open Exhibition of the Utah Watercolor Society was held online. It seems to be the way of the art world during the worldwide pandemic of 2020. Nevertheless, I was pleased to have three paintings accepted including, “Shopping in the Casbah,” “Anyone for Hoops,” and “Long Term Parking.”
