Well the only thing to say as the Plein Air Utah Rendezvous comes to an end is WOW! Over 100 artists, instructors, and guest lecturers came together for four days of outdoor painting, demonstrations, and talks. The setting was the beautiful ranching community of Midway, UT and the headquarters was the Town Hall. We all helped each other as novices and professionals painted side by side, but the real thrill was the live demonstrations from such well-known artists as Josh Clare, Bryan Mark Taylor, David Dean, Michael Malm, David Koch, Rebecca Hartvigsen, and others. I sold paintings and purchased paintings. I was thrilled to purchase Josh Clare’s demonstration painting of a snow scene, as well as several others to add to my personal collection. Will I be there next year? You bet!
