I will be heading to Midway Utah this week for the exciting “Plein Air Utah” event September 13-16, 2017. Headquartered at the town community center at 120 West Main, the event features not only workshops, demonstrations, and displays, but allows artists of all levels to paint along side some of Utah’s best plein air artists. The gathering is a co-effort of the Plein Air Painters of Utah group and the Midway Art Association. Planners Steve McGinty and Suzette Gertsch have put together an unbelievable lineup of activities. Nearly 100 artists of all levels will rub shoulders with professional artists Rob Adamson, Rhett Ashby, David Dean, Susan Gallagher, Susette Gertsch, Becky Hartvigsen, John Hughes, Tom Howard, David Koch, Michael Malm , Steve McGinty, John Poon, Bonnie Posselli, Bryan Mark Taylor, and Kimbal Warren.
