About this Item

There is a legend that the ancient Parrusits tribe who settled along the Virgin River near Zion National Park considered the common Raven to be a friend. The legend tells how sometimes Sinawava would take on the appearance of the Raven, and could bring good luck. They were taught to be kind to the Raven and give him food. Collection: M. M.
