Description
I love to paint old buildings and wagons, especially when they lie forgotten in the snow. The contrast of the gnarly old wood against the pristine snow is a sight to behold. In this case the snow had fallen quite hard in the area between Zion National Park and Carmel Junction in Utah. I couldn’t resist stopping and capturing this peaceful image on camera,, knowing I would paint it later in my studio. I have kept this painting in my private collection for many years.
