About this Item
Scotney Castle is located in the beautiful Kent countryside near the town of Turnbridge Wells. A newer castle sits on a lofty perch but I enjoyed exploring the ruins of the old castle in the valley below. This old crumbling tower looks picturesque from any angle with its reflection in the surrounding moat. This painting won Best of Show at the SUWS annual exhibition and was accepted into the Utah Watercolor Society Two-Star/Signature show in Feb 2011.
