This home is one of the best restored structures in historic Nauvoo, Illinois. Part of that is due to the strength and quality of the brickwork. Master brick-mason William Mendenhall built the home with bricks made by Isaac Hill. The painting was comissioned by one of Isaac Hill’s descendents, Gary Cuthbert.
