Roland Lee plein air painting at East Zion
This winter is so mile we decided to go plein air painting in Zion National Park. The sun was shining and the park was nearly empty of tourists, so we just bundled up and enjoyed a very private outing with our watercolor paints. I was joined by Karen Bettilyon, Teresa Larson, Virginia Howard, and Jim Lee–all very capable artists. The sunshine made it perfect. We stayed at Virginia’s lovely home in Zion Ridge and painted three days.
