Wow, just received my copies of the new book, “The River Flows – Watercolors of the American West.” So thrilled to have a number of  my paintings included in this beautiful coffee-table art book that traces the history of watercolor artists and paintings through the years. The brainchild of noted artists Don Weller, and Marlin Rotach, the book was several years in the making. A special exhibit featuring artists included in the book will be held next spring at the Phippen Museum in Prescott, Arizona.

I love this book. The paintings from the 1900’s make me think of how rough and rugged travel was back when my dad explored the West as an adventurous young man. I’m grateful he passed along his passion and love of the West to me from as early as I can remember. And I’m thrilled to see the great paintings from our recent past and current day Utah artists as well. What a special collection!
