Well the president and the Utah governor decided we all had to stay home and stay safe during the dreaded Covid-19 virus. While it may have been necessary it was not well received by most businesses, it was heeded. Only time will tell whether it was worth it. I shut down my gallery through March and April and set up a painting work-station at home. I have to say, my painting production actually went up, and while I didn’t have a gallery to sell from, I found an audience on the internet. I posted a brand new instruction video on Youtube, and held a couple of special Coronavirus online sales for my media followers and previous collectors. It was a success and got me financially through the crunch in prety good shape.

I am so happy to hear that you have faired relatively well during the pandemic – it is truly amazing to witness what has transpired! My husband and I plan to venture to Zion area to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary June 6-11th – I cant wait! I plan to do some plein air studies while there. Do you have a couple good spots/time of day to recommend to someone who is relatively new to painting en pleinair? I would be very grateful for any suggestions! We will be staying near Virgin, UT at Zion’s Tiny Oasis. Thank you – I have such tremendous respect for your work and talent!
