I enjoyed having my two sons, Jim and Jon, spend a couple of days in my painting studio. I gave them a short “Boot Camp” in watercolor painting. Both are already experienced artists with lots of expertise in computer art. Jim has a degree in art from BYU and does amazing pencil drawings. Jon has done a lot of plein air painting with me around Zion and has assisting me in teaching some high school art workshops. Naturally I feel like they are gifted, but we were all exhausted after I ran them through my intensive three-day watercolor regimen.
