We don’t get much snow in St. George, Utah, but just a short drive north of us we can find all the snow we want. One of the most beautiful winter spots to paint is the little pioneer town of pine Valley, Utah, settled in the 1800’s. Some of the old homes are still there, although many of the weathered barns have since collapsed. I decided to do a pair of little snow scenes, and framed them identically to create a wonderful set.
