Arts and the Park “Light on the Reef” Plein Air at Capitol Reef
Roland Lee is the guest artist for Arts and the Park "Light on the Reef" October 13 through October 16, 2021. This outdoor painting event includes a competition and art sale on the final day at Cougar Ridge Ranch in Torrey, Utah. Roland Lee will give a talk at "Robber's Roost" book store in Torrey on Friday night and jury the paintings on Saturday. This event is co-hosted by the Utah Watercolor Society and the Entrada Institute.

Plein Air Utah Live 2022
Roland Lee will present a one hour and 40 minute watercolor demonstration for this annual event. This year it is presented online by Sentient and will also feature 25 members of the Plein Air Painters of Utah group. the event runs from January 27 to 29, 2022. Sign up here.

Springville 98th Annual Spring Salon
Springville Art Museum, April 27, 2022 - July 2, 2022 My painting, "Colorful Solitude" was selected for this exhibition. The Spring Salon was first held in 1922 and The Springville Museum of Art continues the tradition today and invites all artists in Utah to participate in the 98th Annual Spring Salon. I am happy to find my painting "Colorado Barn" was accepted into the 47th annual Western Fed Show. It will run from may 6 through June 5 and is sponsored this year by the New Mexico Watercolor Society in Santa Fe.
