16 invited artists were chosen from 49 applicants to participate in the Chasing Light Plein Air Festival. Sponsored by the Southern Utah Art Museum (SUMA), Cedar Breaks National Monument, Kolob Canyons section of Zion National Park, and the National Park Service, the artists will work outdoors in the those areas for a week. The event will include live demonstrations and the opportunity to see artists at work. A wet paint exhibit and reception will be held Friday July 7 10am to 7:30pm at SUMA.
