The finished studio painting bears a certain resemblance to the reference photography, but I’ve added so much more. It is not necessary to make this many changes, in fact you wouldn’t want to if it was a portrait of a famous place you wanted everyone to recognize. But being an artist, I enjoy creating a new scene that doesn’t exist, but should!
