Sometimes I just enjoy examining the features on the many cliff faces in Zion National Park. This scene is just below the Sentinel looking up through the pine trees. It is a magnificent big painting.

Duck Creek in the Dixie National Forest on Cedar Mountain is one of my favorite Autumn locations to paint. The evergreens create a wonderful background for the brilliant red and yellow aspens.

A 6 x 9 watercolor painting. I used a previous painting by request as a paint-along in my master class. All the students painted the same thing as we worked together.

One of my favorite places to paint is at the foot of the Court of Patriarchs in Zion National Park. The quiet sound of a gentle flow of water is the ideal background music for a peaceful day in Zion.

The Watchman is clearly visible at the west entrance to Zion National Park. I love how the cliff face changes with the time of year, the weather, and the time of day.
