About this Item
Just north of St. George in Southern Utah is a beautiful area called the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve. I enjoy hiking in this area which is just a few minutes from my painting studio. In the winter Pine Valley Mountain is covered in a blanket of pristine white snow, which makes a wonderful contrast to the burnt-orange sand dunes. During spring and summer I sometimes see endangered desert tortoises which make this area their home.
