About this Item
During the Zion National Park Plein Air Invitational I did a few small plein air studies along the virgin River. In this studio painting I decided to concentrate on the effects of the brighlty colored cliffs and autumn leaves as they reflected in the tumbling waters. The counterpoint of cool against warm really caught my attention.
