Description
On a recent painting trip to Switzerland we stayed with our good friends Max and Silvia Von Planta at their lovely farm home in Stuffels. Each morning and evening I would hike to a different burg or castle (Schloss). I found this amazing chateau near Sharons to be most unique in that it had so many different architectural styles combined in one edifice. I did some on location sketches and completed this painting in my studio.
