Painted from my 2014 trip to Europe where we visited Italy, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This is the famous Ponte Vecchio Bridge in Florence Italy. Artists and tourists have been flocking there for years. I knew I was going to paint this view when I saw it. The cast shadows were wonderful and the colors just glowed. I did several sketchbook studies on location and completed the painting in my studio. This painting was juried into the Spring show of the Utah Watercolor Society, and received First Place in the Dixie Watercolor Show in 2015. It was purchased by collector David Johnson.
