Pine Valley Barn
Watercolor Painting of a Barn in Pine Valley Utah
About this Item
Pine Valley town is located in a cool mountain valley about 30 miles north of Saint George in southern Utah. It was founded by Mormon pioneers in the 1800s and still has a little of the pioneer flair to it. I like to sketch and paint the old pioneer buildings. This barn is still standing but has so many missing boards that it probably cant be used for much. Still, I enjoy the textures created by the weathered wood with its peek-a-boo patterns of dark and light.
