About this Item
During the Kayenta Art Festival, 12 artists were invited to participate in a quick draw event called “Art in the Moment.” I did a plein air painting of the Kayenta Cliffs and sand hill nearby, but altered the lighting on the cliffs so it would be more interesting. A wet-paint auction was held and this painting sold to a happy collector for $750. The proceeds went toward the building of a new Art Center in Kayenta.
