This was painted on location and sold at the 2015 Zion Plein Air Invitational Art Event. I did it as a scheduled demonstration on day 3, as an audience of frozen people bravely watched in the snow and rain. We couldn’t even see the cliffs for the clouds, but luckily for me, the weather broke and the clouds parted long enough for me to do this quick painting of Mount Spry in the clouds.
