Stepping on the grounds of Adare Manor is like stepping back in time. Manicured grounds and lovely rose gardens surround a huge and stately manor house which has been converted into a most elegant and grand hotel. We had the fortune to stay here while in Ireland and wished we could have stayed forever. This view is from across the river on the edge of the golf course. The old Cedar tree in front of the manor is said to be he widest and probably oldest in Ireland. The Swans are not from my imagination. They actually cruised quietly into my scene as I was sketching, as if on cue. This image is available as a limited edition giclee print as well.
