This past summer, in addition to attending a number of plein air events, I have been working on some studio paintings for a new book that will be published next year. The book is tentatively titled “Discovering Zion – Landscape, Geology, and History”. It will feature my paintings with commentary by Dr. Robert Eves and historian Lyman Hafen. The painting shown here is of the East Zion area, one of my favorite parts of the park.
