It was a special week as some of the top plein air artists in the country converged on the Maynard Dixon Studio in Mt. Carmel, Utah for the “Maynard Dixon Country Campout.” A week of plein air painting was combined with seminars, artists demonstrations, and a wet-paint show and sale sponsored by the Thunderbird Foundation. Thanks to Paul and Susan Bingham along with George Handrahan and G. Russell Case who organized the event.
