In keeping with government mandates and even stricter requirements from my worried children, I closed my gallery and studio about 4 weeks ago, and began working in a makeshift studio at home. After a couple of weeks I decided I could social distance just as well out in the desert doing some plein air painting. So I loaded up my art assault vehicle and hit the backroads of southern Utah. Of course I took my mask in case I was discovered, but basically had all of nature to myself. Needless to say I no longer feel confined, and I’m getting a lot of work done.
