I was excited to have my painting “Golden Day in Zion” receive a first place award in watercolor at the Sears Invitational Art Exhibit tonight. A gala banquet was held after which attendees were able to enter the show and pull cards for the paintings they wished to buy. Collector Betsy McChesney dashed in and purchased my painting “Golden Day in Zion” for her collection. She has several of my paintings in her home.
