I enjoyed mentoring a few great artists in one of my best master classes yet. We met for two days in my studio classroom as each artist worked on their own paintings. Our focus was on hard and soft edges, and I saw a lot of progress as we worked on that technique. Participants included Meghana Mitragotri, Mark Rose, Margo Cook, and Jon Lee. Sadly, Connie Madsen was unable to attend due to illness. We missed her. I was blessed by Meghana giving me a copy of her elegant new book, Daintly Made, richly illustrated with her fine art paintings. It’s so wonderful to have a family of great artists and good friends.
