At the recent opening of the fall Utah Watercolor Exhibit I was very pleased to win the “Juror’s Award” for my painting “Misty Morning Zion.” But I was completely caught off-guard when it was announced I had also won the “Best of Show” award for my painting “Cliffside Oasis.” I was stunned and speechless as juror Iain Stewart invited me up to receive the award, which came with a $500 Prize. What a fun night! The show continues through November 5, 2016 at the Pioneer Theater Loge Gallery on the campus of University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
