New oil paintings in progress at Roland Lee studio
Several people have been chiding me for not posting for awhile. I have been a little slothful, but only because I have spent the month of July working on a group of new landscapes in oil. That surprises some people, as I don’t do oils a lot. Not that I don’t enjoy the medium, but I prefer watercolor. However a workshop with my friend and plein air master Brad Holt prompted me to delve in again. A few oil paintings will undoubtedly show up in some of the fall art shows and in my galleries. But for now here’s a sneak peek in my studio at a few oil paintings in progress.
