I was pleased to have three paintings juried into the fall open show of the Utah Watercolor Society recently. My painting “River of Time” won “Award of Excellence” with a $350 prize and the same painting also received the “People’s Choice” award. This painting also won the “people’s Choice award at the 2016 St. George Art Museum National Parks Centennial exhibit. It was also used for the Southwest Symphony playbill covers and appeared in several magazines as well as the cover of the “Independent” entertainment monthly. The painting is owned by Scott Gubler of Deseret Labs.
