Book – Century of Sanctuary

I’m pleased to be included in the new book and catalog “A Century of Sanctuary – The Art of Zion National Park” which was released today in conjunction with the big Zion National Park Centennial Art Exhibit. The exhibit opens tomorrow night at the St. George Art Museum and will continue through January 2009. It contains a collection of paintings by such artists as Thomas Moran and Maynard Dixon. I was invited to write an essay for the book called “Eye of the Beholder.” A step by step demonstration of my watercolor painting “Zion’s Great Arch” is also included. August 21, 2008
