Art Shows – Thanksgiving Point Plein Air

I was invited to participate in a relatively new Plein Air Painting event at Thanksgiving Point. I’ve spent the last three days with about 20 other artists painting the lovely grounds  and gardens. We’ve had free run of the whole place and I think I know the gardens very well now. I completed four paintings and a number of sketchbook drawings and feel pretty good about the body of work. I was able to sell a few paintings and won First Place in the “Quick Draw” painting competition the final day.
