I have a special spot at the south entrance to Zion National Park, where I like to park my truck and hike part way up the cliffside. I can settle into a comfortable spot in the shade of one of the enormous fallen boulders and paint in complete privacy. This painting is done from that spot and includes some of the big boulders in the foreground, but features the striking Watchman across the canyon.
