One of my favorite places to paint is along the river near Court of the Patriarchs. Just below the bridge the Virgin River turns and tumbles in a series of small waterfalls. The sound of the water is restful and the shade of the trees makes it pleasant any time of year. This small study was painted on location and sold at the 2015 Zion Plein Air Invitational Art Event.
