On a high mountain meadow I discovered this faithful horse, ground tied and patiently waiting for his rider. On the other side of the aspen grove, the shepherd was watching over hundreds of sheep.
Exhibited at the Phippen Museum show “The River Flows- Watercolors of the American West” Oct. 2021- Feb. 5, 2022. Sold to Barbara Nelson.
