Navajo Loop Trail – Bryce Canyon

Watercolor Painting of Navajo Loop Trail, Bryce Canyon National Park

About this Item

Like everyone else who visits Bryce Canyon National Park, I am stunned by the display of hoodoos and pinnacles that presents itself in front of you from any viewpoint. It is great seeing it from above, but the view from down amongst the strange outcroppings is really special. I have painted along the Navajo Loop Trail on several occasions en plein air, much to the delight of park visitors. This painting was selected for exhibit at the St. George Art Museum’s National Park Centennial Exhibit in 2016 and is the feature of a short video. Click here to see it.
