Mt. Kinesava from Grafton

Painting of Mt. Kinesava in Zion National Park, Utah

About this Item

Mt. Kinesava rises majestically at the southwestern end of Zion National Park. It can be seen easily from many miles away as one approaches the west entrance to Zion National Park. This view is from the old ghost town of Grafton. Kinesava gets direct sunlight at the end of each day and the sandstone walls light up dramatically in shades of brilliant red. The painting was purchased by Sarah and Utah Representative Steve Urquhart at the Fire and Ice Fundraiser for Dixie State College Scholarships.
