I painted this small Lake Powell scene in a watercolor workshop on painting rivers, streams, and lakes. I used a technique I learned from the master David Drummond. It seems every student wants to know how to do those amazing reflections. we houseboated at Lake Powell for many years, so I am intimately familiar with the appearance of the water. This is Lone Rock, a familiar landmark near Wahweap Marina.
