This painting won Best of Show in the Southern Utah Watercolor Society competition May 2006, and First Place Watercolor, Art in the Park Oct. 2006. I found this intriguing scene on one of our many trips to New England. This little mill house was off the side of the road, where visitors were attracted by the freshly painted red waterwheel. The red leaves of the fall foliage added to the color and the charm.
