Four Kivas – Cliff Palace
Watercolor Painting of Mesa Verde National Park
About this Item
A portion of the Cliff Palace inhabited by the Ancestral Puebloans between 1200 and 1280 AD. This view from above shows four of the kivas and a square and round tower. This was painted on location at Mesa Verde National Park during my artist-in-residency there in October 2011.
