Description
This painting started as a watercolor landscape demonstration at my last workshop. After demonstrating how to use the wet-on-wet technique to paint the sky, I painted the foreground and middle ground using aerial perspective techniques to show how to create a sense of distance in a landscape painting. One of the artists present, John Mangels, later purchased the painting.
