Description
I love to walk along the Virgin River in Zion during winter. Infrequent fresh snowfalls seem to silence the canyon, and the brisk air is refreshing. On this occasion, the autumn leaves still decorated the canyon floor when an early storm blew in, layering the sandstone cliffs with white snow. The combination of fall colors and the stark whiteness of the snow made for a perfect scene.
