About this Item
On a hike in the desert near Ivins, Utah I did some sketches of the late afternoon light bouncing across the desert shrubs. In this studio painting I tried to capture the effect of the strong sunlight as it literally exploded on this bush. This painting was exhibited at the 2016 Sears Invitational Art Show at Dixie State University.
