Description
One of the real pleasures of painting outdoors is witnessing real life in real weather. One of the big pains is trying to paint when real weather hits. On this occasion I really could not paint, but I did fill my artistic bucket enough to paint this from memory in my studio. Watercolor is ideal for creating soft blending of colors in the clouds, and the misty effect of distant cliffs in the rain. Collection M. Laub
