Angels View
Watercolor painting of Zion National Park Angels Landing Trail
About this Item
One of Zion National Parks most popular hikes, and one of the scariest, is the hike to Angels Landing. It starts out pleasant enough along the Virgin River walk, but its all uphill from there. Fantastic views can be seen from any point on the trail, but the final climb is done with the aid of chains and is definitely not for the faint of heart, or those who have a fear of heights. This painting is the view from the narrow passage that leads to the final scramble. From this point you look down on “The Organ” and “Big Bend.”
