About this Item
Stratford Upon Avon is the home of William Shakespeare and many of the old buildings date from that period and before. Although the tudor or half-timber architecture is common, I noticed many of the buildings are built of brick which gives them a special charm. I added the woman in period dress just for fun on this small painting as if she is getting ready to go to the market after a little rainstorm.
