This little body of water in the desert near St. George is used for irrigation purposes. It sometimes surprises people who stumble onto it, not so much because they don’t expect to see water, but because of the incredible vista it forms with its reflections of the red cliffs at Sunset. Utah Watercolor Society Award of Merit, Spring juried show 2006, Sears Invitational Dixie State College.
